If I have to try to get someone to work for me gonna cover Sunday shift first then try for the Saturday night..... Hell if I can cover Sunday and not Saturday I will just drive up after I get off work Saturday night and at least be there Sunday....Any who I will know more by tomorrow.....

Alright guys...I just got a heads up on this gathering for forced labor....I looked back a few pages and saw references but I ain't gonna read 8 pages trying to figure out the details....who, what, when, where, where is the hook? Breckenridge aint but just down the road. My only snag might be if my best friend comes from San Antonio to deliver me enough brand new carpet to completely do my entire home. (and show me how to install it) I am thinking it may very well be that weekend....Even so...I think it is just an hour drive so I am sure I can split away for some of it. Where is the dock? You do realize the moccassins and cotton mouths will be coming out. The dock is on Hubbard creek lake...just off 180. The dock is mostly on dry land, just one corner is in water. I've been working on it myself, slowly tearing it down..Kristi had this idea to have a meet and get help with it. I would love to have y'all, but do know this...it's not a forced labor thing..I don't want anyone doing anything they don't want to. I'll be happy to just meet everyone and have a good Mingle Meet! 
No Doll...I was just being me...I talk alot of smack but, I am Hell on wheels at demolition and property work. (I worked 10 years as a landscaper) I am still ironing out the logistics on when my friend with my new carpet is gonna show up (that weekend). I got zero problem with Jumping on it and getting the job DONE. I got work clothes. :) It is bonus that I can finally shake the hands of some of the Guys and Dolls who I admire (you morons) and knock back a drink while actual reality Mingleing. |

OK! I know ya'll are dying to know how my cook off team did this past weekend at the world championships!
We won 15th in the world in ribs! We won 12th in the wold in brisket! (I cooked it all night!) We didn't enter the other categories so we ended up with an overall score of 35th in the world. Not too shabby for 400 of the top BBQ teams from all over.

i've got a 4x4 chevy pick up that i am planning on pulling a trailer and my bike up there with. maybe if we cut the anchors we could pull the dock on dry land with the truck and cut it up in sections to make a bonfire. is this an option or is there a burn ban up there
