The woods are forever, the trees so old,
without our beautiful creatures, it would seem so cold.
Down by the creek, I hear such a sound,
I even think its happiness I found.
As I travel through tall blades of green,
there were these awesome creatures, so beautifully lean.
As I approach they take up their guard,
to not be able to touch them is all so hard.
Looking into those dark eyes,
I want them to know there will never be any good-byes.
I shall always be with you in mind, and body,
but most times it will be visits where I'm a-little tardy.
It kills me to finally have to leave you for a spell,
but I'll talk with you in my dreams, I have so much to tell.
I'll search for you whenever I'm there,
for its you I have so much love to share.

I really like this poem alot,it expresses the deep love and connection that you have with them.Yes I've seen them first hand,& wow!are they ever spoiled.Their dietary needs alone can be quite a handful,and that's not even including all the other factors that provide them with optimal care.Nice piece,keep up the bearific work.ttyl/hon.
