Instead of voting for and erasiong a thread cause it is in the wrong forum, be an adult and ask mike or Van to move it to the correct one, ok? There are now two new forums on here and there is going to be a lot of mix up for a while due to this, so be respectful and just ask for it to be moved. Thanks.

That is fine a dandy for the off topic boards that should be in the new ones. But what about say things like poems? That board has been there forever. People should know about that one by now. And is that not the whole point of this mad thing? To bring it to Mike and VC's attention? Not trying to harp or anything just trying to clarify.

Not to pick on you Daniel, but actually, the point of this system is so that people don't have to ask us to move threads. Our goal is to have the forums still running smoothly without having to have users contact us any time an issue arises. By having their thread deleted, hopefully people will learn to post their topic in the correct forum in the first place.

It definitely might be a little bumpy at first, but hopefully people will eventually get comfortable with it.

good point about the poems section whisper, but let me suggest another way to look at a poem thread. yes we have the poems forum, however lets say someone goes into general asking for you to keep them in your thoughts cause his mom died, and someone posts a poem there for comfort. Would that be wrong? I dont think so.

BUT, if someone does post soemthign in the worng thread we shuld still suggest to Mike or Van about having it moved instead of deleting it. (and yes I have seenthe voting system and know it has a line for wrong forum)

Thanks Mike, you posted while I was typing, lol. I understand about helping out and I agree with it completely. It just seems a bit harsh in some case for a thread to be automatically deleted cause it is oin the wrong forum, you know what I mean? Like for example what I said about poetry. Now some on the other hand I agree shuld be deleted, lol. basically I am just trying to suggest a little moderation witht he moderation if you know what I mean?

I do know what you mean. We may add an option for "Move topic" instead of just deleting it. But for now, deleting is the only option.

Either way, definitely do not mail Vanchau or myself if you want a topic moved. That's what the new system is for, so until we have something better in place, please use the new tools to help teach users that topics should be posted in the appropriate forum.

ok mike will do. What about ones for the new forums thouhg? I know of one in general that shuld be ion the new clubs forum, and one that shuld be in the games, lol.

May I suggest moving "The Lonely Hearts Club" Mike? I just do not want to cause any problems with the board. It was made before the boards was put in place. Just to keep everybody at ease I guess, I don't know. Just trying to keep peace.

The ones I was refferring to are "singles club" in general and "tv trivia" again in general (this one is actually a trivia game)

nah buttons it wasnt intended for mike or van in the first place, lol. I intended it as a suggestion to toher members to think about before deleting a thread cause it was in the wrog forum. But you are right that maybe it should have been suggested to Mike or Van for the change forum option instead

well i think they got enough to do..... i dont see why it should be a problem for us to help them out without bothering them too much.. imagaine what they go thru? this will ease it up on them....
