only in disney movies And those sappy romance novels. And at the Elementary playground And in John Dunne poetry. And inside white chocolate And outside "Gentleman's" clubs, till the booze wears off. Can also be found at the bottom of a Vodka bottle... And on top of a soft goose down quilt. And laying on the fresh green cut grass on a warm sunny day... And slowly walking the waters edge on a Caribbean beach. And in the smile of a happy 4 year old child... Or the purr of a kitten. And inside a Broken Heart... But with enough duct tape anything can be repaired. Perhaps...but finding that strong duck tape is close to never... That is why True Love can now only be found in a summer day under the warm rain... Or a spring night with full moon. Also at the end of the tunnel...where the bright light is coming from Or under the blue dim of neon at closing time. |

There really is a real love.
However, I don't believe in the concept of 'romantic love', which is what is portrayed by media. I mean, the thought of the constant romantic relations, flowers, chocolate, cards... I mean, it's unrealistic. I am a true believer of the type of love, 'Compatible love', which is based off friendship, similar morals, beliefs, and such. It's usually a much more stable and worth while relationship, at least, in my opinion. I don't know, I mean, flowers and such are alright sometimes. But constantly? It's unrealistic. |
