How do i change the O.S of my P.C from windows 2000 to vista? Please help me.....

Put the install disk in your CD or DVD ROM drive. Follow the prompts. Instruct the computer to format the hard drive you are installing too.

DO YOURSELF A MAJOR FAVOR! Ditch Vista and get Windows 7 Instead! Vista sucks on so many levels! You would be better off going with XP if your computer is older! Why? Vista and 7 were intended for 64bit machines and you have to be sure your COMPUTER can support the OS! If not you have o dumb down the OS and it slows down. At least 7 has a 32 bit flavor! If your computer is older than two years DON'T EVEN CONSIDER INSTALLING VISTA! You will find out the hard way why!

Your win2000 machine won't work with winvistas. You must coerce your parents into buying you something much newer.
Although, if you're not stupid, a linux install would revive that box.
