most favorite performances were the collaberation between B.O.B, Bruno Mars, and Janelle Monet(these are three truly gifted young people who create, play instruments, and sing, and give great performances,,,,a seriously rare combination these days)

I also loved the opening with the 'sistas' Jennifer Hudson, Christina Aguilera, et al,,,,

least favorite performances were Rihanna and Usher/Bieber

(either stick to vocals alone, or give an excellent performance lip synching, but I think Rihannas vocals were awful and Usher/Bieber would have done better to lip synch and concentrate on an awesome performance)

oh, as an afterthought

I LOVE GWYNETH PALTROW, her versatility is so admirable
(she sang motown with Babyface, very well too, then she went country, and now pop,,,,,,I just love her)

I don't watch the grammy's. I'm not into hip hop, rap or R&B! The country they recognize is anything but country and I don't like it either. They award greenday as a punk band while ignoring Rancid, GBH etc and do they even give out awards for heavy metal?

ever since 1990..this years winner is Iron Maiden (also nominated were Korn, Lamb of God, Megadeath, and Slayer)

the actual awards process is much longer than what is televised so I think many, many categories are involved which we never actually SEE on the televised show
