Progressives call for the lynching for Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas
Ah yes. Progressive liberal Democrats. The party of the minorities, the “poor”, the oppressed. Last I checked Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas was an African-American who although he is conservative, progressives should be for him right? Nah, not really. At an anti Koch Brothers rally, progressive leftists loons called for Thomas’ lynching! Those evil teabaggers! Oh wait, it’s not them either, thought everyone in the media claims it’s the tea party that are the racists. These same peace loving, racial tolerant “progressives” all want to send Thomas back “to the fields.” Check the following video (be forewarned it contains profanity):

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E3ctO7fdrcc&feature=player_embedded

Oh, and send Sam Alito back to Sicily (because he’s Italian) too? Yes, the progressives are truely the party of race. The party of RACISTS. That’s why the KKK was founded and continued by Democrats. Don’t expect to see this anywhere in the lame stream media. You’ll be lucky if Fox News ever shows this. Also, don’t hold your breath waiting for race hustlers like Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, or the NAACP to come out and condemn this.

Why should Democrats be for a very conservative justice just because he's black?

Thomas appears to be Scalia's poodle. Basically, his role on the Court has been to say, "what he said". Add to that his criminal non-disclosure of his wife's financial ties with the Republican party. Failure to recuse is standard procedure among conservative SC justices. Scalia's duck hunting trip with Dick Cheney just 3 weeks after ruling that the White House didn't have to disclose its actions on the public's behalf with the energy task force. At the very least, the appearance of impropriety. Now we have Roberts and Alito giving key-note speeches at conservative fund-raising events. Is this a good way to promote the appearance of non-partisanship?

OK. Here's something that's pretty contemporary. Once again, I'll reprint an essay by my favorite talk-show host. I have nothing to add to the opinion and Thom says it better than I ever could. (This is definitely a LIBERAL source).
These 74 Members of Congress should call on Justice Thomas to be impeached.

74 Members of Congress penned a letter to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas asking him to recuse himself should the high court take up the constitutionality of Obamacare. Justice Thomas’s wife – Ginni – recently started a new lobbying firm called Liberty Consulting with the purpose of bringing, “voice to principled citizens and the tea party movement in the halls of Congress through governmental affairs efforts.” Considering she will likely be paid by organizations to convince Members of Congress to repeal the healthcare law – there will certainly be a considerable incentive for Justice Clarence Thomas to rule against the law should it come to the Supreme Court.

The bias here couldn’t be any more obvious. And the federal recusal statute – the law by which judges are supposed to operate by clearly states – “Any justice, judge, or magistrate judge of the United States shall disqualify himself in any proceeding in which his impartiality might reasonably be questioned…” For example if, “He or his spouse… is known by the judge to have an interest that could be substantially affected by the outcome of the proceeding.” Of course – this statute didn’t prevent Justice Thomas from ruling on the Bush v. Gore decision back in 2000 – that handed George W. Bush the presidency – even though his wife worked for the Bush transition team. And it didn’t prevent Thomas from hearing the Citizens United Case last year even though he often takes part in political strategy session organized by the billionaires Koch brothers who directly benefited from the Supreme Court’s ruling in that case. We are seeing flat out corruption in the highest court in the land.

The Constitution of the United States gives Congress the power to oversee the duties of the Supreme Court – and if 74 Members of Congress ask Thomas to step down – then he should. Better yet – these 74 Members of Congress should call on Justice Thomas to be impeached.

That is all well and good, but you didn't mention anything relevant about this particular thread.

You condone your progressive comrades in calling for a sitting black member of the SC to be sent back to the fields, tortured or lynched simply because they don't like the fact that he is a conservative?

These are the types of people that were influenced, during the early 20th century, into believing that sterilization of undesirables and setting up abortion mills in minority neighborhoods were acceptable.

The progressive movement in America has one of the most vile and despicable histories of any social or political movement in our history.

This recent display of outright ignorance and sheer stupidity by the useful idiots of the modern progressive movement shows that the ideals of Margaret Sanger, Woodrow Wilson, George Bernard Shaw, HG Wells, and the rest of the National Socialist German Workers Party "We love Eugenics" cheerleading squad.. lives on..

Wow! I don't know where you got all that! (Everything I've posted on this thread has pertained to Clarence Thomas as well as others). OK, if it makes you feel any better, Roberts, Alito and Scalia should go. Thomas can stay, just because he's black.

is it surprising to anyone that racism has no political party

just like bars arent just for drunks, but they are more likely to attract drunks than say, a store

republican party ideals are closer in line with how a racist might think, this is not proof that racists will all be republicans or republicans will all be racist

I dont buy this vid at all . People who watch alot of fox news are real easy to fool. Would anyone be suprised if the republicans sent some plants into the crowd to do a fake interview? Boths sides do this. It has been proven that some parties send people to teabag rallies to appear moronic and shed a bad light on the movement. Every thinking person knowes the dems are the party of all people regardless of race. We all know for the most part the republicans are for old white folks just like your granpas oldsmobile.

"Seventy-four House Democrats have signed a letter to Clarence Thomas asking the Supreme Court justice to recuse himself from any deliberations on the constitutionality of the national health care overhaul..."

Politics as usual... simply an underhanded way to try to tilt the decision of the supreme court.

How many--- 74... Out of how many representatives in congress...

Grandstanding...

when those same 74 ask for the former solicitor general to recuse also it will hold some water... Otherwise it is political grandstanding...

I finally actually watched the little video. I'm impressed. After all the hundreds and hundreds of photos and videos of these little teaparty gatherings with the Hitler mustaches and the signs with Obama hanging in effigy that we've seen, we finally have a video where some liberals made some ill-conceived ramarks about what should be done with several Conservatives. Very strong medicine!

Sad, isn't it? That in the face of such overwhelming indication of judicial bias, only 74 legislators had the courage to stand up for the obvious.

I forgot to add that the republicans are for old white people except if you collect social security and are on medicare, then its cat food and church charity for you.

By the way, Invictus. where DID you get all that stuff from your earlier post? ("That is all well and good, but you didn't mention anything relevant about this particular thread.

I don't think it's kosher to just make stuff up from whole cloth.
