Got ice on the roads 3-4". We aint used to that kind of thing...for the first time EVER they started salting the roads. Got behind a convoy that was doing it...then I looked over and a COW passed me and the convoy.....1hr40min to get to work....1hr20 min to get home......normally its 17 minutes. |

No place is used to 3 - 4 inches of ice. Ice storms are nasty. We had one 2 years ago. Trees were falling all over the place........

Salt is ok in mild temps but at -10F it's useless... they add calcium chloride and sand up here... friggin toxic I say!
It's chewing up our cement overpasses and prolly killing us a slow death through the vent airflows of our vehicles.  Soooo how's everyones day so far?

Our ice storms!
   Power grid was out for 8 days.... Mayhem! Edit* I stayed in my house for those eight days... My black Sheppard and I, guarding my neighbors houses against looters. Never mess with a insomniac stoner and his nasty dog. LOL |
