Hey, Eileena .
YOU WIN!!!!!!! The answer is that they ARE Shephen J. Cannell shows! WAY TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NEXT QUESTION: Everyone remembers Don Adams as Secret Agent Maxwell Smart on the classic TV show, "Get Smart". BEFORE Get Smart, Adams played a hotel detective in a TV series. Name the show, and name the character(first AND last name) that Adams played. GOOD LUCK TO ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
|
|

Hey, Eileena ,
Personally, I think TV in general isn't anywhere near as good now as it used to be. Cannell WAS the man in the 80's! I think he went downhill in the 90s tho. Renegade(a syndicated show) was pure crap! Any guesses on my latest question? Prior to playing Maxwell Smart, Don Adams played a hotel detective on a TV series. Name the show, and his character's name--first AND last. |

The only other thing that I can think of that he played before that time was Tennesse Tuxedo but that was a cartoon detective. he had a partner named Chumley. It was on the Underdog show. I used to watch it all the time because he was very funny.

Wow, I thought that was a hard one! You did great, sir! Don Adams developed some of his Maxwell Smart mannerisms on this show, including his famous "Would you believe..." catchphrase. |
