The Illinois Supreme Court has just issued a stay of the appeals court's order knocking Rahm Emanuel off the ballot and directing the Chicago Board of Election Commissioners to restore his name to the ballot.

I still don't get what the big deal in on this anyway. Confused. Is he a dem or something? Yes! It was more political than anything. He still owned a home in Chicago and payed taxes. The only reason he ever left was to serve the Nation. He moved to Wash DC and his family moved to be nearer to him. Like I said, he maintained ownership of his home in Chicago and payed city taxes on that house. |
