Val Day .... gets shortened to VD in my cirle. and it is only a con. an attempt at suckering in idiots into buying cards and candy and flowers ...... its a total commercial con. Never ever had good feelings about it. ... There is a minor mid-winter pickme up aspect to it but in most cases its a mid-winter let-down ... bordering on depressive agent. I think it should be cancelled forever. I think the idea behind Valentines is good as taking the time to spend with the one you love. It doesn't have to be about cards, gifts, or candy; it could be as simple as a candle lit dinner for two at home. Curious how you feel about Christmas? Do you partake in it? That is a hundred times more commercialized than Valentines day. What does buying gifts, drinking, and overeating have to do with what is supposedly the birth of Christ? What about canceling Christmas? |

Question. Is "Purple Jesus" a real drink? too lazy to google atm. Purple Jesus cocktail with Everclear, Ginger Ale, Grape Juice, Vodka Really? Thank you. It was deliscious. All my favourite drinks seem to include Vodka...sensing a pattern. |
