When I started here, I tried sending out some messages.

Never got a reply. Not one.

I've written 5 books. It's not like I couldn't compose a coherent, amusing e-mail.

I studied psychology for 7 years. It's not like I couldn't find some common ground to write to people about, based on what was in their profiles.

None of that mattered. I never got a reply.

So I stopped sending out e-mails to people, and I started posting in the forums.

And that's how I got noticed here. It took awhile. But I started getting lots of messages from people here, once I had established myself in the forums.

I still won't write to anybody first. There's no point. It's a waste of time. I've got all the credentials in the world re: writing this or that or whatever, but sending out unsolicited e-mails isn't going to do it.

So I post in the forums and let them contact me. It makes more sense that way.

You've got 16 posts since September of '09. You might beat the odds and get someone to reply to an e-mail, but I wouldn't put money on it.

If you want to be seen here, try the forums. Seriously.

I mostly just get on for the forums now, because I haven't really gotten any messages that catch my attention.

I'll reply when I get a message that is genuine and the person actually took the time to read through my profile.

Well guys let me through this out to ya,How many of these gals are for real ? Most that use this site and Others like them use them to rock there boat it is a power and head trip.To make this short and sweet.We all are looking for a tip to to the Y.And they know it.It easy to hide behind a keyboard knowing they have you by the short hairs.I myself have contacted about 200 lady's in my age rang and only one turned out to be real and we communicate to this day.
