Yeah she would just pop in here and there. Been cold in the morning here and gets up to 65 in the afternoons here.

Grand morning everybody. Carol, Carole, Roy. Good morning indeed. 35 degrees for a morning temp, that was the high just yesterday. Going up to 54 for todays high.

Yes, I think so to. Just thought I would check in here this morning as I am usually at work, so don't get to chat. I am going to store to get a few supplies to make some soup, from the recipe's I got earlier.

Cool I have hundreds of recipes for soup. My grandmothers favorite meal to prepare. Be safe on the roads.

I do share with everybody, they are grand indeed. My grand mothers were grand cooks, so were my grandfathers, my mother was a grand cook to when she had time to cook. Soup is wonderful during the colder days of the year.

Soup is wonderful during the colder days of the year. My mom was a single parent so didn't have much time for cooking. But my grandmother lived only a block away, so she did a lot of the cooking for us kids. It was wonderful, plus some of the old German recipes. If I could only find some of her recipes.

I'm afraid my grandmothers recipes were all in her head. She made some wonderful corn bread and you wouldn't think that would be to hard to duplicate but...

My grandmother's family was from Switzerland, they were considered German Swiss. So I did get a hold of some family still living there and made a German Christmas supper 2 yrs ago. My mom really enjoyed it. But would be nice to have my grandmothers actual recipes.
