Topic: What Movies Have You Recently Seen? - part 2 | |

Was made to watch Vampires Suck. Still stupidly funny.
Knight and Day - Hysterical. Tons of action and humor. Despicable Me - Long, kinda dumb |

Homebodies '74- Another sadly overlooked horror film. Elderly residents of an apartment building decide murder is the only way to keep their building from being torn down.
Doghouse '09- Definitely one of my favorite of the current horror comedies. Only the women become zombies in this British flick. |

Yogi Bear with a 3 & 4 year old - lame.

The Social Network: It was good, but I don't know what all the rage is about this film being the best of 2010.

The Attic '80- This is a sad movie, at least I thought so. Carrie Snodgress gives a great performance as a lonely woman who lives with her father(Ray Milland, who also does a great job.) and can't let go of her lost love from almost 20 years before. I remember the trailer and they tried to make it come off as a horror film, and it really isn't.
I love how the flashbacks were done like old home movies. |

Animal Kingdom- This was terrific! The ending will make you go "he f'n deserved that"! This is a dark movie and it will make you wonder at times. But overall, it is a solid film. The mom will trip you out.
Winter's Bone- Good film. In a way, it does have the "typical" Hollywood ending. And yet, it leaves so much open to what you think might happen to certain characters. The characters make no bones about who they are, or why they are the way they are. To them, this is life. I mean, doing a hit of coke in front of your Neice and then asking her if she has "tasted it yet" is like asking if she has tried Cherry Coke. It's normal, and the actors do a great job of portraying that. I was impressed with this movie. |

Re watched The Gamers: Dorkness Rising About a group of friends trying to make it through a D&D mod- it cuts between them playing, and them as the characters in the mod. This better represents Dungeons & Dragons than the Dungeons & Dragons movie did. Very funny movie.

Coming to America starring Eddie Murphy, it was so fun. They use a lot of bad words though but it was completely hilarious.. can't stop laughing.
