The Dems voted FOR the Iraq war twice!!...They wanted the mess in the middle east more than Bush did.

Obama is still a coward, but I dont think we should be jumping in the middle of this stuff.

Let the Korea's duke it out among themselves!! We dont need another money draining tax burden like this!!~

We have no choice because of treaties and pacts we made.

Oh, we have a choice. We can simply stay out of it. Lots of other countries break their treaties with us, so we can do the same here.

But Obama will try to do something on S. Korea's behalf, while sticking it to the taxpayers here.

Are you that uninformed about history?

I hope they finally get it over with so China can either rise to the top as a nation of peace and help end this peacefully, or China will get froggy and the Nukes will fly! This is China's Tar Baby.

F N Korea. They know full well what will happen when they press the button.

Not with the "Coward in Cheif" we have. He is probably hiding under his desk shaking back and forth in the fetal position, right now.
Not that I dont think Obama is any more or less of a sell out than any other president I find this laughable being what did Bush do when Korea was Building a bomb? I think he had us bogged down in a war based on Lies did he not?

Being the Pinko Harry Reid and Stinko Nancy Pelosini would't let him do anything.
Seriously? is your memory that short? I sometimes wonder if you just post things without thinking them through. What I remember is that while Bush looked for nonexistent nuclear weapons in
Iraq - as Condoleezza Rice suggested, to ensure that
the next warning did not come as a mushroom cloud - Korea was realy makeing them. Clearly the latest trouble is just another mess Obama has to fix after 8 years of Bush. Realy Bush needs to be on trial for the criminal he is and his criminal negligence while commander and chief

No Bush wanted to hit Iran and N. Korea genious.

10 years ago you were 22.
Why didn't you sign up to fight in Bush's illegal war?

I tried to but couldn't qualify medically. It wasn't illegal, both Houses voted for it, the UN and Nato.

unfortunatly for all humanity they voted on it with propagated information, ya know all the yellow cake lies and other fake evidence they used to justify it. Hell the whole country was terrified after 911. The Bush regime stoked that fear daily to get what they wanted. Never did find them WMDS did we?

Really, so Saddam's wasn't a murderous regime? Why don't you tell the millions that were raped, gassed, murdered, slaughtered, beat etc. Technically what he and his sons and generals did were war crimes and crimes against humanity.

Then lets look at the Nuclear aspects shall we? Saddam had WMD's, he gassed the kurds with them. Yes Gas weapons count as WMD's. Second Saddam had Nuclear weapons when the inspectors were last in the country before they were kicked out and not allowed back in. Saddam had a big a$$ desert to hide them in and hide them he did.

It doesn't matter what Saddam was or wasn't. We had no right to enter and destroy a sovereign nation on false premises.

The war was one of the greatest war crimes committed on this planet and sadly those who are responsible will never pay.

The Iraqis paid with their innocent lives.

No, the greatest crimes was Saddam using UMD's on his own people and the Kurds. He gassed hundres of thousands to death with chemical weapons.

BTW the definition of a WMD is as follows.

A weapon of mass destruction (WMD) is a weapon that can kill and bring significant harm to a large number of humans (and other life forms) and/OR cause great damage to man-made structures (e.g. buildings), natural structures (e.g. mountains), or the biosphere in general. The scope and application of the term has evolved and been disputed, often signifying more politically than technically. Coined in reference to aerial bombing with chemical explosives, it has come to distinguish large-scale weaponry of other technologies, such as chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear. This differentiates the term from more technical ones such as chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear weapons (CBRN).

The United States Definition is Chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear weapons capable of a high order of destruction or causing mass casualties and exclude the means of transporting or propelling the weapon where such means is a separable and divisible part from the weapon. Also called WMD

We didn't kill our own people with Anthrax or other WMD's. Case closed. Debate closed.

Considering that Saddam was fully capable of pulling off a 9/11 and never did and yet his country paid by blood for the crime it is a travesty and makes us tyrants.

No, he had WMD's as defined by the UN, NATO and the US. All three gave the ok to go in and eliminate the threat. Case closed.

George Bush said, “In the new Iraq there will be no more torture chambers, the tyrant will soon be gone, the day of your liberation is near”.

Oh what dreams men have.

Wake up umerika Its proven we are now the torturers. We increased our aid to Saddam after he gassed the Kurds, we only brought it up years later to justify our occupation.

"You could get a journalist cheaper than a good call girl, for a couple hundred dollars a month." - CIA operative discussing with Philip Graham, editor Washington Post, on the availability and prices of journalists willing to peddle CIA propaganda and cover stories. "Katherine The Great," by Deborah Davis (New York: Sheridan Square Press, 1991)

As terrible as it is to live in a nation where the press in known to be controlled by the government, at least one has the advantage of knowing the bias is present, and to adjust for it. In the United States of America, we are taught from birth that our press is free from such government meddling. This is an insideous lie about the very nature of the news institution in this country. One that allows the government to lie to us while denying the very fact of the lie itself.

Seriously? this from a dude who doesnt even know the taliban when in power in afghanistan stopped all opium production and when Umerika took over it skyrocketed?
The past nine years have seen the 40-fold increase in opium production in Afghanistan, Viktor Ivanov, the head of the Russian Federal Drug Control Service, told reporters on Thursday.

He urged the US-led coalition forces to do more to resolve the problem, which he complained was “only twice mentioned in a just-adopted new NATO strategy”.

Ivanov also said that Afghan narcotics-trafficking adds substantially to shoring up terrorists in the Russian North Caucasus.

I didn't support the war in Iraq either for the reasons Bush gave. However, try asking most Iraqi's if we did wrong by invading their country? Truth is, most Iraqi's like what the U.S. did because it got rid of Saddam and then helped them to rebuild their government and country. I don't know this from any media reports or any propaganda spewed at me. I know this because of all the soldiers I've talked to since they returned home from Iraq. Of course a few bad things happened, and of course many Iraqis would like us to withdraw, but do not mistake that for ingratitude or hatred. Most Iraqis just want to stand on their own feet. They appreciate what the U.S. has done to improve the country, but they just feel it is time they took care of themselves.

And WMDs were never found. Truth is, Saddam had dismantled, destroyed, or even sold off all his WMDs before the U.S. invaded. It was an act of self-preservation on his part. First, maybe it would halt the invasion. Second, no WMDs found would embarrass the U.S. And third, a stray missile or artillery shell could conceivably released hundreds, if not thousands, of gallons of deadly gas. If Saddam and his people survived the gas, the Iraqis left would have rebelled against him. The chemical deaths from the Iran-Iraq War sucked the will to fight from both sides. Too many people still remember just how many people died. It is still a sore wound for many middle aged Iraqis.

Isn't it funny how North Korea and Iran step up nuclear projects shortly after Iraq was invaded? Could it be that they bought Saddam's nuclear research?

Explain how war is illegal. I never knew of any laws that said you can't go to war even if it is based on false premises.
