I have one gift left to knit, thankfully it is small so I think I can get it done and wrapped in time. Tomorrow is gift baking day, otherwise my recent unemployment cut short any further plans.

I just need to wrap presents.

Just need to wrap 3 more gifts and have to wait till pay day again to get one for my momma. Can't wait!

Snow SUCKS!!!

Snow doesn't suck, traveling through it sure does!!! What is all the crude about a white Christmas, just messes up everyone's travel plans! Snow before, snow after...but let's all wish for a dry holiday weekend.

nothing lol .. no job .. no christmas this year.. i did make candy cause my friends invited me over for christmas day to eat and hang out.. they are family to me.. best friends for 15 yrs

I have to tie the plumbing into a 900 gallon Jellyfish tank, Finnish tying in the reserve tanks, tie in the filtration for three ponds, and likewise tie in the water fall pumps. All this while tile guys, electricians, the display guys, plumbers, and IT guys do their thing trying to get the Sketchers World Headquarters finished by January 6th.

We receive our first batch of jellyfish the 27th or 28th depending on our wholesaler!

The past two months have been 7 day work weeks and I have had maybe two days off the whole time. We are so close to being done and I do get to take Saturday off!

I was so close to having to work Christmas day too but thankfully we dodged that bullet!

By the way, the tank is a BEAST! I am so proud of my baby especially if everything pans out on the wet test Friday!!! Best is we are beating a deadline that was tossed on us last minuet and changes just keep coming!

Still, I cook with GAS!

I am just too hot to handle!

my christmas is over

The greatest Christmas present would be to go across the country to see neices and nephews and cousins I never knew I had.But, sadly I know that will not happen this year. That is something I want to do though. One must pass on their wisdom and knowledge to other family members as a Christmas present they will remember. Gifts and all is cool, but that is not the reason for the season. It is about love, peace and the eloquence of having another chance to wake up, live and see another day, no matter what it may bring.
