Big News! The moon will go into a full eclipse tonight after midnight and then turn red til about 4:00 am. Last time this happened was in the early 1600s!
Make a wish! Turn into a wolf! Cure your zits! "According to NASA, the eclipse should be visible in North American according to this approximate timetable: * Penumbral Eclipse Begins: 05:29:17 UT * Partial Eclipse Begins: 06:32:37 UT * Total Eclipse Begins: 07:40:47 UT * Greatest Eclipse: 08:16:57 UT * Total Eclipse Ends: 08:53:08 UT * Partial Eclipse Ends: 10:01:20 UT * Penumbral Eclipse Ends: 11:04:31 UT Here "UT" means "Universal Time" and corresponds to Greenwich Mean Time (London, England, UK). To obtain a rough estimate of the local time of the eclipse, subtract the appropriate time-zone offset. Bear in mind, however, that the exact minute and second will depend on where the observer is located within the time zone. The eclipse will occur "later" in portions of the time zone that are further east. |

It is super bright right now! Too bad I will be completely comatose when it hits. Thank god videos of it on Utube will be far more exciting than the real thing.

But ... you will miss all the supernatural powers! I can see people naked. (not always a good thing) I can lever open jammed car doors with my penis. I can whip my hair to look like a rock God. I am pretty well stocked on supernatural powers. Besides....I have the Carlos Santana :Super Natural album and a monsterous porn collection....I can stare at full moons for days. I am set. |

Well now....that's something I can't do.
Blotting out the Sun or Moon....that's easy. Just pull my finger! |

My Pops always said that the bass would always bite during a full moon.....

BTW. If you want to go from UT to Eastern Time, subtract 5 hours. 6 for central time, etc.

Damn clouds prevented me from see the eclipse and the meteor shower. I stayed up just to watch it too. I stayed up too & it was very cloudy here as well. I had to use my list to burn to get the fire started because it was windy and as the last corner of it burned the clouds briefly parted revealing the moon that was eclipsed about a quarter of the way Peeked again around 1:30 & nothing but blackness, went to bed after that! |
