I stayed up, but only to give all minglers a running commentary on what they could look forward to I had to say good buy to my Cousin who lost her battle with cancer this week and I was staying with friends. As you get older I find its no big deal to stay up late....give me a good nights sleep anytime

So sorry to hear about your cousin Tim...and sorry you lost your wife Ray...you're both in my prayers.. I was able to stay up and see the new year in but it was no big deal.. My date had to cancel because he is real sick.. bummer Carol, you had a date? Do tell!!!!!

We have no snow at all Deb...it's just a photo. Happy new year! No, Ray..neither of those things...We have some giant oak trees here. I love them. Some are over a thousand yrs old. I discovered an old grapevine in one it was as big as some trees. Huge trunk and vines that are at least 18' in diameter. Still alive..will make some good Muskadine Jelly!!
