Vice President Joe Biden says the Justice Department is looking at what the U.S. can do to stop more document releases from WikiLeaks.

Biden says he won't comment on that process, but has strong words about WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.

Biden says if Assange conspired to get classified documents with a member of the U.S. military, then "that's fundamentally different" than if a reporter were given classified material by a source.

The vice president tells NBC's "Meet the Press" that he would argue it's closer to being "a high-tech terrorist" than what happened in the Pentagon Papers -- with the 1971 leak of a government study about U.S. involvement in Vietnam.

An Army private is suspected of passing classified information to WikiLeaks.

Why don't they just come right out and say it already: dissent is terrorism. biden's mama should hang herself in shame if she's still shamelessly alive. This disgusting charade would not be accepted by most Tribal People.

what you and a lot of other people do not realize is that we do not need to know everything. who cares if some army ranger shoots someone by accident. hell, police do it here 10 times a week. and covert ops are just that, we are not supposed to know. and why should we care whether they kill some foreign citizens? They are in a war, sometime it happens.

I love when politician­s tell us that telling the truth is dangerous and will kill us. What is realy killing people and putting lives in danger are the two wars started on lies.

are important private details of diplomacy and military planning is
certainly harmful and can damage these efforts.

If Bill clinton would have had the balls to deal with Saddam and the terrorism that was addressed to him we wouldn't be in this mess either would we?Why did Clinton just slap Saddam on the wrist after the first gulf War?Why wasn't Saddam tried for the invasion of Kuwait,sending missiles into Israel,and gassing thousands of Kurds?It was a load of BS!


When Saddam announced on public TV he would reward any family members $25,000 for suicide attacks on Israel or the United states that was enough justification for me.

(CBS) Iraqi President Saddam Hussein has raised the amount offered to relatives of suicide bombers from $10,000 per family to $25,000, U.S. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld said Wednesday.

Since Iraq upped its payments last month, 12 suicide bombers have successfully struck inside Israel, including one man who killed 25 Israelis, many of them elderly, as they sat down to a meal at a hotel to celebrate the Jewish holiday of Passover. The families of three suicide bombers said they have recently received payments of $25,000.


That piece of garbage Saddam threatened the United states thousands of times with War and destruction.He invaded other countries,used chemical weapons on the Kurds,supported terrorism,and was nothing but a useless dangerous dictator who nearly every country in the World wanted gone.


Was it worth it to invade Iraq?I think it was.How much has 9/11 cost this country?If we could go back in time and spend billions taking care of terrorist in the year 1990 isn't that much better than spending trillions after the attack in 2001?Letting Saddam live could have only made things worse as he would have surely united with these other America sucks countries and started World war 3.

war. It is a waste. However, when those such as Saddam threaten
others lives, openly slaughter people, gas opponents, give
money and support to suicide bombers and express a desire to fund
additional attacks against the U.S. then they must be stopped

I agree with you about the military industrial complex, but if you think about it they are one of the only major manufacturing industries we have left. As much as I would like to see their influence wane, I would hate to see the devastation inflicted on the sector and the massive amount of jobs that would be lost.

The clash between the fabricated myth about war and the truth about war leaves those of us who return from war alienated, angry and often unable to communicate. They kill and do not know what killing is. In the rise to power, they became smaller. Power consumes them. Once power is obtained they become its pawn.
