I love everyone, I dont care what they have done or if they have hurt me, I dont care who they are or what they look like. I love because i choose to. I have different kinds of love for my children, friends and even strangers. And another for anaconda. But for me unconditional love is accepting the person for who they are, it doesnt mean that i agree with what they are doing or have done. I was married to a very violent man who took away my confidence and hurt me and my children, But i still love him, not because i am in love with him, but because despite what he did and what he became, I know that there is still a man who has goodness in him, I hate what he did but i will never hate him. I think unconditional love is just being able to seperate the person from what they do, there are so many people in gaols (jails) that have been horrible, but there has to be a reason for that , there has to be something that turned them, what if they had grown up with unconditional love or had had people who loved them reguardless of what they did. I am surrounded by people who offer me unconditional love, and it makes my life a fantastic place to be.
I think that the difference is with obsession you cannot let the person go, with unconditional love the person that you love is free to be who they are and to leave, obsession chokes and destroys, while love builds and releases
