thats cool. i just recently put my pics on my profile, cuz i got tired of all the complainers and haters...but just cuz my pic is up doesnt mean they are getting any dates anyways, haha.

I am of the same mind have a GF on our third year together we both are almost done with kids in school each has own house to worry about. etc etc I am here for the conversations and some friends I made while I was single. Its a nice eye piece into the world and how people think about current events.

Most are far more open on the internet than they would be in a socal setting.

I am sure if I said in public what I say here I could get myself into some trouble. Same on both sides.

oh yeah, there would be a lot of broken noses and missing teeth. haha. i dont tell anyone my religious or political background. Its not worth it, I drop opinions here and there, but thats about it..

I have three kids and am divorced. But i am not ready for dating on a serious level. I date sporatically, but i enjoy just coming in here and having some adult conversations...thats all i need right now. Did you meet your GF on mingle??? or somewhere else?

Its interesting.

We live in the same town and have two kids the exact same ages and attended the same schools. I have known here since our 19 year olds have been in kindgergarten. We were often paired up on field trips and our two sons were actualy good friends back then and had spent the night at each others houses. She was married then and I a single parent with custedy. I allways found her attractive and MARRIED.

She showed up on mingle one day and that is how I found out she was divorced.

A couple emails later we exchanged numbers and made a date and have been dateing each other exclusivly ever since.

wow, that is soooo cool. I met one of my best friends that same way, minus the whole mingle part. haha. Her daughter and her son, were in the same classes as my daughter and my son. We kept seeing each other and one day i said, everywhere i go there you are or something dumb like that, then we would talk more and more and turns out we grew up in neighborhoods across the street from each other and went to the same high school, but different years. but we know all the same people,

anyways, she is now one of my closest friends, only we are both girls, lol. awwww shucks. but turns out we both got divorced at the same time too, hahaha. so now i guess we can go on the prowl teamster style, hahaha. I have dated some guys in my area from this site, but blah, i am good at finding reasons to not further a relationship. ther are a few crushes but all east coast, and thats the way i like it. there is no pressure that way. i would like my kids to grow up and then when they are ready to give me the cold shoulder in high school, i can find someone to spend quality time with, hopefully.

Kids do make dateing complicated its a hard ballencing act.
It makes it much easier haveing known her kids since they were little its more like I am their uncle than moms boyfriend we all have a common history.

Not sure if I call this a mingle sucsess story or not but if I hadnt had been here I wouldnt have found out she was single.

i think its funny you were both on mingle..what luck for you huh. You're like YES she is single! haha. I wouldnt call it it a mingle success story either being that you were already acquaintances, however like you say, you would not have known she was single otherwise. Thats great!
