I quit my job today, my only source of income, a week before xmas in the prime of heating season. I already know it was crazy. I also know I had to. Scary as hell. Freeing too.

I hate jobs where someone has to try to intimidate me. I have that going on right now and I still will not suck up to the foreman. I actually like breaking his balls and a real ball breaker is coming soon when I finish ahead of schedule!!

Sometimes quitting is the better option. Sometimes employers expect their job to be you whole life for little pay. They are lowlifes and suck.

You were smart quitting a job that made you miserable! There is work out there! Also MUCH better jobs that pay better.

I had to do the same thing. Left on my terms. Jobs can make your life miserable. It will all work out.....

You will find a way, we always do. I left a job----the pay was good, but i also know the stress was out of control with their corporate shoving around tactics. . . Now that it is done. . .try and enjoy the holiday and IT IS FREEING. . you have a fresh start now. . Good Luck to you

Hhhmmm, that thought has crossed my mind quite often this last month - working WAY too many hours doing things that should never have to be done.
Life is too short to spend it stressed out and only sleeping a couple hours a night because of a silly job.

Now I just gotta figure out how to keep the lights and heat on around here and it just might happen.

I quit my job a little over a month ago......and I actually loved my job even as overwhelming as it was.....I didn't really want to leave my job but for personal famlial reason I did......and relocated......wish I was home and back at my job but this couldn't be helped ...... am looking at the moment

either you die of a heart attack from too much stress at work, or you quit and only apply for jobs you enjoy---- when i left my high stress overpaying job---- i weighed out the pay versus quality of life, Life won----- you cant pay me enough to treat me like CHIT all day----pay me to do the work you hired me for. . .nothing more nothing less.
