"The upper house of the Swiss parliament has drafted a law decriminalising sex between consenting family members which must now be considered by the government."

same thing many here think of same sex relations, ONLY two words matter 'consenting' and 'adult' and after that everyone should just stay out of it and treat it just as any other 'consenting adult' relationship

so do you think that it is a good idea to just say "consenting adults" and leave it at that?

do you advocate decriminalizing incest here in the united states?

I dont think anyone should be imprisoned for consentual sex. I also dont think the government should sanction all forms of consentual sex. Stick to the sex we NEED to exist, male and female, beyond that peoples tastes should not be something sanctioned or criminalized by government.

I wouldnt want two consenting adults to ever face prison for deciding to engage in sex, but I wouldnt want the government to sanction incest either (just because I think its disgusting), but that is no longer a good enough reason in mainstream opinion,,,so,, who knows....

If they are both adults it doesn't matter if they're related. You can think what you want about it too. Personally not something I would partake in unless she was super hotlaugh

In the old days (and in Tennessee), incest meant genetic defects that the community had to deal with, so laws were made to prevent it.

In today's world, with contraception, I guess they figger, "who cares?".

It has always been difficult to legislate morality.

Perhaps we should have a plaque over every elected official's desk that says "Thou shalt not lie".
