I was about to give Bill Clinton credit for balancing the budget until I pulled up some numbers on the federal deficit from the U.S. Treasury. The federal deficit actually rose $1.6 trillion under the Clinton administration despite attempts to balance the budget.

In truth, there has not been a year where the federal deficit shrank since 1957. (Treasury records available on the web only go to 1999.)

But he was the only one since 1957 to balance it out. The economy was booming with Clinton, failed with both Bush's, and is failing with Obama. ****, at least Clinton kept ****ing money in our pockets.

I'm hard up to really explain much of **** to any of you, I've found it to be a major waste of my time either because you can't read, don't know how to type properly or are too stuck on whatever the **** blog that has been hand feeding you horse **** for the past few years.

Honestly, dude....I was about to type "The best President would be the one that nuked Washington, D.C." I am really fed up with our federal government. I'm sick of Republican versus Democrat. We used to have major third parties rise up every couple decades. Hell, the Republicans were a third party before the Civil War. I'm sick of all the lobbyists (many of whom are former politicians), the pork barrels, the favors, the bills unread before voting, the over-regulation, the tax cuts for the wealthy (rather than say for business which actually generate jobs and incomes), etc.

Truth is, both the Republicans and the Democrats are equally bad, and often are in cahoots behind the scenes. In public, it's all a show to tell constituents what they want to hear.

I am an independent because I refuse to ally with either party simply because it's the same old politics. I want something new that will force Congress to change, just like the Whigs and the Republicans back in the mid 1800s.

Careful, here soon we could have a president that does that.

I mean, a few people liked Bush for some reason or another...if that isn't a testament to how flawed of a society we are then I don't know what is. Our society likes to spend money we don't have, then beg the government to bail us out, then they bail us all out which leaves us even deeper in debt.

Kind of like a circle of fire, doesn't really matter which way you go...you get burned.

I remembered it as only blow jobs, which most guys dont have a lot of discretion about since its not truly intimate(anything that doesnt require you to look at anything but the back of someones head isnt intimate,, IMHO)

Really....BJs are extremely intimate actually, if they are looking at the back of your head then they don't want to look at you and trust me if its intimate they want to look at your face and they want you looking at them when u do it.............actually its probably one of the most intimate things a woman can do for a man especially if she makes it that way...........

im confused. the first sentence states bjs are intimate, then you say its not intimate if they dont look at your face

hard to pay attention to what your mouth is doing and your hands while straining to look up ,,,just saying

Im sure its done, but I doubt its the normal 'position' ,,,face to face bjs, that is

All I can say is you must have no clue what you r doing BJ wise........ all you have to do is open your eyes and look at him......I bet you keep your eyes closed during your whole sexual experience

Maybe we can have a contest and I will be the judge! bigsmile

Pretty sure of what Fear is saying:

The bank crisis was due to a consumer debt crisis. However, mismanagement by the banks meant giving multiple credit cards to people who weren't responsible enough or simply did not earn enough to merit having the credit cards issued in the first place. That is why I blame the banks. Been there, been part of it, and I got out....then spent 10 years digging through the aftermath.

What happened? I bought a new car....someone ran a stop sign and totaled it. It was nine months old. Then I lost my job just before Christmas, and was out of work for 7 months. I had $7,000 in the bank which allowed me to eek by for 6 months without Unemployment. The final month, I was living on credit cards. After that, I was continuously employed for the next 14 years.

The second part to what Fear is hinting at is Unemployment, Welfare, Disability, Social Security, and health care. These are all bail outs for the common people.

Back during the rise of infomercials, I commented that we were witnessing the return of the Snake Oil Salesmen. Bernie Madoff, Enron, Global Comm, TyCo, etc. all are proof of how badly the mindset has spread within this country. Now Gordon Gecko is back on the big screen....Coincidence?

I say, oust the incumbents in each of the next 3 or 4 elections nationwide. Send Washington a message. Make every elected official fear being removed from office regardless of what they say or do while in office. Remind them that in a democracy or a republic, they are elected to represent the views of the people, and not necessarily to lead the people. The system is set up to prevent mob rule, but it was also meant to prevent elitist rule.

Even though I liked Bill Clinton as a President, this is just another case of the Slick Willy image. Remember, the surplus was meant to be used to pay down the interest on the federal debt, but as this government link shows, it wasn't nearly enough to keep the debt from growing. So, even if he did everything he could have done to control government spending, the federal debt was a beast beyond his control. Just another sign of how bad Washington really is.
