Just finished watching "The Tunnel." All I can say is: Thank you Red very much for recommending it. This movie had the best acting I have seen in a long time. There are quite a few things I really loved in this movie but can't say it without giving away some of the story. Everyone should see this. It was VERY well done. i wanna see this too based on red's recommendation. it's not gory, right?? just making sure she's not trying to trick me away from my hello kitty moments. |

The Woman When a successful country lawyer captures and attempts to "civilize" the last remaining member of a violent clan that has roamed the Northeast coast for decades, he puts the lives of his family in jeopardy. Wow. Just finished watching this movie and I never expected to feel such intensity. Definitely not your average Tarzan story. :) |

I haven't seen this one yet, it's a sequel to Offspring '09- which is based on Jack Ketchum's book, and Offspring is a sequel to Ketchum's Off Season, which hasn't been adapted yet...I haven't read The Woman yet which was published the same time as the movie, but both Off Season and Offspring are excellent books. |

Haven't read the bools, but the movie was quite good. Not super excellent, but it definitely packs quite a punch especially the ending. |

Off Season, The Village Voice scolded Ketchum's distributor for publishing a work of violent pornography. |

Off Season, The Village Voice scolded Ketchum's distributor for publishing a work of violent pornography. I found Offspring and will be watching that. I didn't know The Woman was actually a sequel, so that explains a lot of questions I initially had. Though it can stand on its own even without the first one. I wonder if they will make the first book into a sequel, like a The Beginning? |

I love the whole concept of this clan living in the caves and capturing people for food. |

It would be nice to have a prequel, kinda like what they did to Hannibal's story. |

Offspring
Survivors of a feral flesh-eating clan are chowing their way through the locals. Amy Halbard and Claire Carey strive to survive their abduction by the cannibals and save their children.
