Is that because of that money he gave to help that Nigerian prince
reclaim his fortune?

laugh
In one bold move Nigeria regains credibility lost in all those spam scams

Right Okay..................sure..........................ummmm not
Realy are you not shamed it takes a backwards country like Nigeria to bring this criminal to justice? I thought america was the land of laws? How shamefull to be an american when it takes a country like nigeria to school us in the rules of law. One cant expect much from a country though that wages illegal and imoral wars and when it bankrupts itself with them tries to raid social security and other programs that have a direct impact on peoples quality of life. Lets face it the media is owned by corperate america and serves its agenda like the Old Pravda served the old soviet system. We are a nation of rubes. With that I am out for a while heading into my Dodge Ram 2500 stretch cab, heading to wallmart to get some stuff to make Chili with the ground Venison my work bud gave me. Will stoke up the fireplace and count my current blessings. I wouldnt want you to think I am an unhappy person in general with all my rantings against the current state of affairs. I am an old school type guy. I have had the same union Job for 18 years run four Mori Seiki lathes and pretty much have a good life but I am aware of what goes on in this country and the direction it is headed, I sure wont cheerlead for it. oh did I mention my girlfriend is comeing over to watch a movie on my new big screen tv I just purchased last weekend? Um err god bless america I thinklaugh

I just don't care anymore honestly until all politicans r in jail......bcs they are all criminals.....and I don't care what Nigeria does it will never be respectable......and hell they took the money.....that's all they really care about is money.....not the people of their country where the gap btwn wealthy and poor is so vast its ridiculous............they kill their own people to get ahead.....its probably a scam to get more money out of the man......not that he shouldn't have been arrested for shooting people but hey I am not the one with enough money and power to pay people off like politicians can.....so I will just laugh at the hilarity of it all........

You know, if we switch the "Nigeria" for "United States", this might reflect how some other countries see the US

We have corrupt politicians and corrupt business leaders, our culture is dominated by the money-hungry, the gap between our wealthy and poor is huge, and some people in the US have killed others to get ahead.

I'm not saying that any of these qualities are equal between us. I'm not saying that either country is 'just as bad' as the other country in any particular respect. Only that the same basic accusations can be applied, and this might help explain why some people in other countries can so easily convince (brainwash) other people in those countries that the US is evil.

It's hard not to swoon a bit over the news that Nigeria will file bribery charges against Dick Cheney, and that an arrest warrant "will be issued and transmitted through Interpol." He may never serve a day, it's overdue, it's not in our country, it's like getting Al Capone for tax evasion etc etc, but damn it feels good.

Did Moveon.org finally bribe a country into pressing charges against Cheney and Bush?

No some Judge in spain is being bribed not to press charges.

WASHINGTON, April 16 (UPI) -- The attorney general of Spain has recommended dropping a yearlong attempt to bring six former senior Bush administration officials to trial on charges of authorizing torture practices at the U.S. detention center in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. But the final decision on whether or not to proceed with the case will lie with the daredevil judge prosecuting it. And he's never backed down yet.

Judge Baltasar Garzon wants to press charges of human rights abuse against six leading Bush administration officials, including former Attorney General Alberto R. Gonzales, for providing legal cover to activities at Guantanamo. The other five U.S. officials he wants to put in the dock are former Undersecretary of Defense for Policy Douglas Feith, former Assistant Attorney General Jay Bybee, former Deputy Assistant Attorney General John Yoo, former Defense Department General Counsel William J. Haynes II and Vice President Dick Cheney's former legal counsel, David Addington.

laugh laugh laugh

One (of many!) reason we have a government, is that if we didn't have a government, we would be conquered by a nation that did have a government.

Edit: that laughter was in enjoyment of your "sell the politicians into slavery" comment.
