I have got a one date from here. But all of the people I have met here in the forums live way too far away.

I have made several friendships here that I can see lasting a lifetime, but my friendships often do and that makes me happy! I ignore the scammers & one-nighters, but always respond to messages from friends.
I may end up meeting some minglers in H-town & definitely planning on meeting a few when I go to San Antonio in February & Dallas in March/April!!! |

I had a long distance "virtual" boyfriend that I met here...turned out to be nothing but lies and scams...good thing he was too far to do any real damage...despite taking all the precautions I still let myself get carried away..
Frankly its not worth the trouble..I like chatting..getting to know folks here but, since then, its flirt global but date local.. |

Met quite a few as friends on here, both men and women, but TheCaptain stole my heart. If not for the forums, I wouldn't have ever met him. His sense of humor and caring heart is what won me over....not to mention I think he is the most handsome man on here.

I often wonder...... Has anyone met any one or gotten replies because they post here? I know it is true. Just want others here to chime in with their opinions. I have just had thoughts going back and forth and just wanted to mention it also.  This site has been a bust as to meeting men, but it is not the site, per se. The same people are on ALL the sites--paid or free, I seldom see a new face. I have had people email me about my posts, but on this site, I haven't met anyone as a result of a post. |

I too have made some great friends here, (can't believe I was gone for so long, a few of the friendships prevailed my absence, a few did not) I have not met anyone in person from here (are there any Mainers here??) But I come here for the forums, not the dating part. So I am very happy with what I have here.

the only ones that i'm interested in live Lex miles away,for those not sure what a Lex miles equals to it's 897,000 miles. i have gotten some but it's either what i stated above or i'm not interested Oh so thats why you closed the blinds when I perved you. I live way too close huh?  jk
