another Mingler?? I have seen pics and read posts of Mingler's who have met socially, some even in small groups. Do you live near enough to another person on here to get together? Would you if you could? I haven't seen anyone on here from Maine, never mind my part of Maine since over a year ago, any one out there from mid coast Maine?




If so I could really use a back rub!

I have seen one on the street, one at work, 2 current co-workers, when I first signed up here, there was a gal that I was just starting to date who had a profile here.

One of the things that puzzles me a little is that, when I look at the "People You Might Be Interested In," there are hundreds and hundreds within a fairly short distance of me. Never see any of them in the forums, though.

All of my friends on here are very far away and it is unlikely I will ever meet most of them in person.

As far as actual "dating prospects," I'd only be interested in someone local, and the locals aren't cooperating.

Ditto, ditto and ditto!

I just don't get the long distance stuff, I know it works for some people but just not for me. For starters what good would a long distance back rub do me!

And yes I have made friends here too, all far away but then I am here for the forums and friendships, simply can't imagine actually meeting anyone to date on here...especially since I seem to be the only person in the forums from my whole dang state!!

When I do (rarely) have any one show interest in my profile or request to IM on here, if they aren't in the forums so that I have some sense of them, I ignore them. I am not interested in someone who just sees my pic and wants to go from there.

I have been fortunate to meet several from mingle2. First time was a BBQ at my house we had 7 that showed up. From there several of us would get together and met at Applebee's for drinks and appetizers. That group involved Bry, Phuque (T), Txssun (Tami) and a few others.

I have also met Silveradogal we actually get together every few months and have lunch.

Let's see then I got to met (Pam) Pkd1220 last Dec along with another that was on mingle....

Ohhh and I got to meet galendgal (Glenda) , Metalwing (Joe) Joe's sister and her husband was kind enough to give us a place to stay for the night in Luchenbach. Not only did they feed us a feast but took us on a tour the next day.... Good times were had....

Then we had a go away party for Phuque (T} again Txssun (Tami) was there and the famous Krupa along with another mingler that did not post....

Then recently I got to met esebulldog, Bob & Suzanna......

So yes I must say I have been fortunate enough to met several from this site along with a few others that were actually dates....

Even flew to Colorado to met one of them 2 years ago so far there have been a lot of memories made...........and good friends...

Hopefully there will be many more to come.............

Wow, you are in a pretty heavily Mingle populated area! Any friends among them? Guess not or you'd have probably said so.

Are you pulling my leg?? If so pull harder cause that might help my back if done just right, you know, as part of my back rub! LOL

I love having friends & would totally hang out with fellow minglers! None in my area are active on the forums, but I am taking a trip in a few months and may end up meeting several minglers when I do! I am excited about that as they all seem like super people to have as friends!!!

Wow and wow! I knew that this great site had brought some real friendships about but I think maybe you hold the record! I hope you get to continue to meet and make more great memories, old friends and new! (Tell me please, is Krupa as hottttt as he seems?)

There is not anyone I would turn a met down from here if they were only passing through..... I truly enjoy meeting others from this site.....


As far as Krupa .........well lets just say he is as unique offline as he is online. I assure ya there is not a dull moment around him.... And he does look like his pictures he post.

And hopefully I will get to met up with him again down the road... along with several more...

I'd like to go meet IndnPrncs in person some time. If my health ever allows me to travel more than an hour away again.

Awwwww I only wish I had the money to travel shshs there is not a state that I would not hit..... including many outside of the states...
