Saturns were good cars and I think it was wrong to let them go. But honestly, I'd have a hard time dating guy who didn't know jack about cars...that's just annoying

kind of sounds like the same thing to me....but better to find out now.

I owned two Saturns. Um....I can understand both points of view, but to turn someone down because of what they drive? Totally lame. If you really like someone, respect them. Hers was nothing more than an excuse.

To explain, my first part....I had a 1995 and a 1996. Someone ran a stop at 60 mph, and totaled my 1995. It was only 9 months old. I loved that car. It handled everything I put it through like a champ, and it had a sporty look. The 1996 didn't look nearly as good styling-wise. It didn't handle the same in bad weather. And, I drove stick, so the clutch just seemed more temperamental. In essence, IMHO the Saturns went downhill after 1995.

As a nod to you, I'm betting you never had such an A-B comparison. I should also mention that after my first Saturn was totaled, they wanted to put me in a commercial. Truth is, if not for the handling of the 1995, I should have been killed, i.e. 2/10ths of a second later and my head would have smacked against a telephone pole. I made a point of telling Saturn the story to let them know how much I liked the '95, only to be disappointed by the '96.

Even so, I've driven some lame cars....The Saturn was the first I felt good about driving around women. Next was my Mazda B3000 4WD, and now my Honda CRV 4WD. To have someone to turn me off because of driving a Saturn?

What the hell was she driving then? Probably something she couldn't afford. Or she's a snob. Point blank.

I drive a Honda CRV 4WD and like it a lot but I used to have a '98 Buick Regal and it was awsome.. I could maneuver the mountains at 80-85 mph down thru Virginia and it held the curves and flew... lol I gave it to my gson when I got the Honda and he is still driving it!
