Just got a call asking for my husband... He's been dead 8 yrs now as of June 13th...wtf?? it was the people that sold us his last car wanting to know if we'd be interested in anything now....dontcha hate being blindsided!!!!!??

yeah it is strange Connie.. just like when I get mail for my grandmother... she has been gone for nine years. its hard when i see it... i usually choke back the tears until i get home

Sorry hun I know what you mean...have a few bills like Texaco etc that I never even changed that still come in his name, I don't even flinch with those anymore...but when someone says may I speak to Bobby....just feels different I guess.

I used to get calls all the time from charities and stuff for my husband after he died.I just couldn't bring myself to tell them he had died so I used to say he was out.

the wife has been gone for 9 years now, I get the calls and mail wanting to know if you would like to upgrade your card or that car you were looking at last week, is it the one you want or would you prefer one of our other models. then something I think everyone on the planet receives, congratulations you have just won all you need to do is return the lucky number.
