country in the world. Some of it's citizens expect people to be ashamed of it, apologize for it. Whatever happened to being proud of your country? I tell you what, I see it like this. If you have that big of a problem with it, then get out. If you can get treated so much better somewhere else, then go there. I for one am sick of hearing people bash this country.
Sure it's not perfect, but what is? You are here via the Internet, so I guess life isn't that unjust to you after all is it. And about our flag.......display your flags proudly! When did this become a bad thing? Oh but it's okay to bow to other countries. Don't say anything because you might hurt someone's feelings. Let me cry a river! I just watched a video where a school made a young boy take an American flag off of his bike and it rubbed me the wrong way. If I offended you, put your big kid undies on and deal with it. |

As for the boy on the bike with the flag, there is a thread about it on here if that is what you meant. Schools have to keep all expressions to a minimum so they can control what is going on in the school. If one flag is okay then all flags are okay and dixie isn't okay to some folks for example. Schools need this for the safety of our children. Fly your flags off the school grounds for the school safety |

It's getting worse every year. And it's NOT solely for safety, it's that but the threat of being sued by prissy parents who know that their little angel couldn't be bad. |

Most schools have a flagpole don't they? All mine did and they all had an American flag on them. Remember when schools had a flag in everyroom and you said the pledge every day during announcements? I do. |

I am extremely proud of
Texas America Our military The things we have done to help the world My fellow Americans who try to do the right thing. I am not proud of Congress for bankrupting us. Any individual US politician who lies to get elected and does whatever money pays him or her to do. People who milk the system in bad faith. |
