Now that the cold/cooler weather has hit, I can wear my black leather Aussie Brumby hat again. Yay! I really need to get one for general wear since this one is more for when I go out in public, and therefore taken care of.
Do those that wear hats have a particular favorite? |

Opps wrong thread for me even when I had horses and rode drill team I hated having to wear a hat....
Never have been one to wear hats shssh it messes with my hair  gives ya that flat head look...

While I've worn out several "baseball" hats in my day, I tend to wear a "Boonie" or "Bucket" hat mostly. They seem to be pretty good at keeping the rain off of my glasses. Plus, I tend to get a lot of "nice hat" compliments when I wear them.
I also have a rather nice brown "Fedora," though when I went shopping for it I really wanted the royal blue one (however it was $130). I'm lucky though, the Stetson Hat factory was originally less than 45 miles from here (St. Joseph, MO), and they still keep an outlet store there. They've got good prices on hats there!! Also, as a farmer, I tend to get a few free baseball caps as "promotional items" from seed corn and farm equipment dealers. |

I have four hats, lots of caps.
I like movies and pictures from the 30's - 40's - 50's, the fashons, men would wear hats and ties most the times, and women would wear dresses or skirts. Ron |

I have my RM Williams Akubra...for best.... I have my 'donkey's breakfast' straw akubra for day to day.... I have a funky red felt elf hat that I wear grocery shopping... I just bought a wide brimmed woven hemp hat for in the yard....it's so light and breathes so is not too hot...and if I get really bored i can roll it up and smoke it!!! 
I luuuurve hat, I have hundreds....it's a fetish methinks. |
