You don't ever seem to have time off! While being a "good & faithfull servant" may have had a place in biblical times, that was 2000 years plus ago. So, when do you have your next time off? AND< do you leave the ranch then? 
I was hoping it would be Thanksgiving....but no, there's going to be a dinner at the saloon.. and no, I've only left the ranch on time off twice in a year. So, you've only had time off, twice this year! Does the union know about this?

I vaguely recall something about she hadn't been well & this was why she hadn't been online for a spell.

I'm not certain that Carol is still about, but I'm sure I shouldn't answer on her behalf! For myself, I wasn't thinking at all, tragically, my mind was a total blank. Sadly, this is not an uncommon state of affairs
