We are still shakin' with the best of them, rained all weekend but OK today. You may have heard we have had a mine explosion on the West Coast, 29 guys are down in the mine, but there is no contact with them. They have been down there now since Friday afternoon @ 3.45pm

Apparently the coal face is 2.5kms from the mine mouth. Seems likely that it was a build-up of methane gas that caused the explosion, & sadly, I think there will be few survivors. I think that if the explosion didn't kill them, the gas will. I hope I'm wrong
