We are still shakin' with the best of them, rained all weekend but OK today. You may have heard we have had a mine explosion on the West Coast, 29 guys are down in the mine, but there is no contact with them. They have been down there now since Friday afternoon @ 3.45pm

Ray, I hope that they have the same success as the Chilean miners. There is hope since it took 17 days to reach contact with them and it is my understanding that your miners are closer to the surface. My prayers are with them.

Apparently the coal face is 2.5kms from the mine mouth. Seems likely that it was a build-up of methane gas that caused the explosion, & sadly, I think there will be few survivors. I think that if the explosion didn't kill them, the gas will. I hope I'm wrong
