There is some speculation that it may have been Hussein showing the U.S.'s might to Russia and Asia, but I don't think Hussein has the testicular fortitude to do something like that. |

im sure someone knows whats going on. they just dont want to talk about it. if it was a terrible screw up, or a terrible threat, there would be a chance they'd rather leave it for speculation than let people know

The curvature of the earth and the angle and color of the light hitting the vapor trail made the plane look like it was flying straight up, but in reality it was flying towards the camera. It was a very deceptive illusion, and I thought it looked awesome.

I could tell what it was from the video. lol What, do you think they were shooting missiles at aliens? If they were shooting secret satellites into space, then they would have said it was a private satellite or something instead of saying they didn't know what it was. |

Ok......so really you don't know....but have decided what it was.
and 'they' have stated to the world media, 'they' don't know whose missile it was...not some plane's vapour trail... but thanks anyways... |

Hey I didn't post to argue.. was simply posting my opinion. What does it really matter anyway? It was either a plane, or a spy satellite of some sort most likely. No cities were vaporized and there is no counter-attack by aliens, yet.
If a plane was flying towards you, with the orange light shining on the plume, it would look exactly like that.. no reason for you to get an attitude about it. :P Believe what you will. |

My uncle heard the news about it
Told me about it so we were kinda waiting for more news Saying maybe California just sank into the ocean Or the military saying ... Ooopppsss we ****ed up But I highly doubt they'll admit to it. |

attitude?
I have an attitude about everything!...and if you read my comments with a grin, it will make more sense. I am sat here down in little aussieland...absolutely gobsmacked that the US media, US military, and the general populace who witnessed it, were so comfortable calling it a missile...and confessing to not knowing whose. remember, for us down here...we see the US military and media as soooooper paranoid...(with good cause, after 9/11)...and this incident was a bit of a yawn...and only 50 miles off the coast... I think it's fantastic...some good ole complacency is necessary to temper the paranoia of the past. |
