Not to mention his sheer hatred for the men and women in uniform. Hell he even wanted them to pay for their medical bills due to injuries serving our country since they voluntered to go.

Great man that Obama is.

Obama inherited a gawdawful mess he has done better than I
expected in dealing with it. The Republicans have done nothing
or at least very little to help. What really is stoopid is
that they are getting ready to waste an unbelievable amount of
taxpayer time and money trying to repeal health care reform -
a complete waste and pointless exercise under the veto pen of
the Whitehouse.

PLEASE PLEASE our legislators, PLEASE stop wasting time on pointless symbolic gestures and work on improving our economy and social
services.

Thank you.

You know they have to make the gesture now, they ran on the impossible repealing healthcare reform garbage.

We are in for a stale mate. Unless Obama tries his stupid bipartisanship again then we are in trouble if he starts making concessions to those devil Repubs.

Uh.. Republicans dude. Sure we want to improve the economy but not social services. We want to limit those.

Social services are already limited. I said "improve social
services" and that includes getting the best bang for your buck.
Just don't waste time on an empty gesture. There is no
point to sit around debating health care reform repeal. It
cannot happen in this administration and I don't want my tax
dollars going to a pointless exercise. Period. Do something
useful or next time at the polls Repubs will pay the price
for wasting more taxpayer dollars.

No one wants to see our representatives sitting around debating
something useless for months or even years while their time
could be used instead to accomplish something productive.

laugh

Maybe we should just organize a giant House of Representatives
and Senate tiddlywinks contest and broadcast it live on PPV - that
should have about the same entertainment value.

why do we vote for a party? they all continue to get their cushy checks whatever happens to us and they are more concerned with being the winning PARTY than having a winning america

I am registered to a party, but I vote the best candidate. I dont think alot changes whoever gets voted into congress BUT I pray that we dont become a country led by PALIN,,,because of emotional decisions and popularity contests and lazy thinkers who follow whatever the top story claims at the moment,,,,without researching or using logic

I have come to the conclusion that it doesnt realy matter who is in power dems or republicans they both serve their corperate masters. The dems at least try to soften the blow of our downward slide on the social level so I lean to them. However nothing has realy changed the criminals of 911 still run amok, Bush the war criminal is off selling books and Sarah Palin the quiter and quick buck chaser still has a following and has a reality TV show. I think we need to get our crap together while we still have a country worth fighting over.

Nope, Democrats had control of the House and Senate in 2006 and thats when it started going down hill.

The catalyst of the down turn took place in 1999 with slick willy and the repubs.
