One of my favorite all time sitcoms, and Planet of the Apes is one of my favorite franchises. Have the all the movies, the cartoon, and the series on DVD.

One of my favorite all time sitcoms, and Planet of the Apes is one of my favorite franchises. Have the all the movies, the cartoon, and the series on DVD. Planet of the Apes.. ..that was it..yes...was on tip of my tongue.

Planet of the Apes.. ..that was it..yes...was on tip of my tongue. I even enjoy the final sequel, though by far the weakest in the bunch. Tim Burton's remake was ok, a missed opportunity to not make a closer adaptation than the '68 version was to the book. And, The Apes franchise is getting a reboot that is reinventing everything.

Remember...Land of the Lost? Yes! Loved that show as a kid. I rewatched a marathon of it when they aired all the eps on Scifi. They had a lot of big name scifi writers of the time writing the show. Love all of Sid&Marty Krofft's 70's shows. HR Puffnstuff, Lidsville, The Bugaloos, Bigfoot And Wildboy, Electro Woman and Dina Girl....

Hallmark Channel airs I Love Lucy(usually on weekends), I haven't seen Gilligan on TV in awhile. Might want to check TVLand's online website, and Hulu online. I also love Leave It To Beaver, Andy Griffith Show, Ozzie & Harriet, My Three Sons, Father Knows Best, Dobie Gillis...big fan of the 50's and 60's.

Leave It To Beaver, Andy Griffith Show,My Three Sons, Father Knows Best Omg ...we are old. ..those were the Good ole Days.. Hahaha. I've got a DVD set that is 150 hours of scifi shows from the 50's and 60's. Some even include original commercials from the time. I also love Abbott & Costello, their movies, TV show, and I've been collecting their radio shows. Also love Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis. Close to Halloween I listened to a Father Knows Best Halloween radio episode.
