After Nancy Pelosi's announcement she will seek re-election to be leader of the Democrats, moderate members of her party are lining up in opposition — saying they want to move in a new direction

Lets hope the move is left...... SHe was the worst speaker ever she refused to bring Bush and Cheney to justice. Two complete war criminals. With that she allowed Ovbama to become a war criminal as well. Will we ever have politicians who have any humanity? We are a criminal nation run by war criminals.

I think more then just moderate members will oppose this in the end. It wasn't moderate members who sent her letters to resign as speaker during the campaign season.

I have a hunch she will end up announcing retirement after she doesn't get a leadership position because she is a power mad person. I am sure her buddy Obama will give her a nice position though.

Rep. Dan Boren, D-Okla., one of the most conservative Democrats in the House and a member of the Blue Dog caucus, told Fox News on Friday he could not "in good conscience support Pelosi" if she were to run.

But the National Republican Campaign Committee welcomed Pelosi's announcement "based on her proven ability to create jobs for Republican lawmakers."

"The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting a different result," NRCC spokesman Ken Spain said in a statement. "Of course, if House Democrats are willing to sacrifice more of their members in 2012 for the glory of Nancy Pelosi, we are happy to oblige them."

No, Dems will lose the Senate and Presidency in 2012. People are still irate about Obama care and the massive spending and big Government.

Hell, Obama is still thumbing his nose at what the American people want by traveling like a king to India. The voters sen't Obama a message and he is clearly not getting it.

This is an exact repeat of Jimmy Carter and the House and Senate take over when Clinton was President. There were small gains in 94, but in 96 well there were larger gains.

It wasn't just the House the Republican's won. They wone quite a few Senate seats putting them within about 3 less then the Democrats. When you count the Blue dogs and Independant's that lean Republican like Liebermann then you will see that they have a great chance to pass things and override a Presidential veto, especially when this President has a historically low approval rating of 41% at this time in his Presidency, Dems that narrowly won re-election for face re0election in 2012 can read the wirting on the wall and will not go along with the President for self preservation.

Not to mention that the Republicans also won the majority of the Governorships in this last election(Demos only winning a couple) and also winning the majority of the State Assembly's and Senates and other state and county offices. You will see them being really productive passing laws to strike down Obamacare and massive spending at the state level, pleasing voters and making the atmosphere better for Republicans in 2012.

Hell, Harry Reid got VERY lucky. If he would have faced Lowden, Chacha's or Christensen in the general election he would be toast. The Republican Party made a huge mistake nominating Angle. I know a lot of Reid supporters switched parties in the primary to vote for her and the Reid campaign dumped a lot of money helping her out and running attack ad's againt her opponents.

The house and Senate were victims of the Bush propaganda machine, ya know the smokeing gun mushroom cloud hype. Lets face it most of america was duped. I am sure had we known the economic price we would all pay (look around) We would have been rioting. Oh what a shame how dumb we americans have become. How about a Nato country that supported the Iraq invasion other than down on its luck England? If asking for data to support a persons opinion is elititst then I am guilty as charged.
