It was madness at the polls today it seemed as if every redneck bar was giveing out free drinks to those who would vote to stop progress. What many did not realize is that you need your drivers liscense to vote. Our local town drunk was in a heated exchange with a poll worker on how he lost his license and state ID and it was a liberal conspiracy that he hadnt got his state ID yet. I thought they were going to mace him. It doesnt look good for the dems I fear, but not as bad as predicted. Not that the dems did a great job. They let the war criminals Bush/Cheney slide off the hook. If they wanted to expose the republicans as the party of brutes and the rich they would have invetigated and prosecuted them for the Iraq war lies. The dems on this day are probably going to get whats comeing to them.

It will not surprise me to hear that this election is filled Tom Foolery on behalf of the democrats. They're reeling from the fall out of their arrogance earlier this year.

Oh yeah! I had to check and recheck my ballot before sending it off electronically. I didn't want to check the wrong candidates.

My regular polling place is about a half a block away so early voting made no sense for me. Althought today I had to use a paper ballot because the machines weren't set up and tested as early as I walked in...about half a second after 7:00 am. Easy breezy!

When I went there 5 old people. And one machine. So I did the paper ballot which took 20 minutes because of all the races going on here. Old people should not vote :P
