It is to be expected, you are going headfirst into Autumn, where we are about mid spring. We should have no more frosts within around two weeks, mid November usually stops them. I can recall 1 white Xmas, and that was a nasty shock to the system,it occured in 1969, but the memory lingersbiggrin

I stayed in New Zealand for thirty days on a motorcycle. It was one of the best times of my life. People were unbelievable warm and friendly. People invited me over to eat stay and be apart of their family. I cooked, drank, and lived a once in a life time journey.

Great to know you enjoyed your trip through NZ. Are you American born? The reason I ask is because you use English in an entirely different manner to others on this site. I suppose I should note that Jerry has said that Texas is a "whole nuther world" compared with the rest of the US.

Yes sir; pure American, my great grandparents were born in the old country. Grandpa Urban was from Russian descent, German, Irish, an American Indian. Live with my grandparents for some time. Pickup many customs, that I still hold dear today. The manner I use English a positive way?
