"As of Wednesday evening, more than 223,000 people indicated they plan to attend. Fans who can't make it have set up at least 20 satellite "Sanity" rallies in cities such as Austin, Los Angeles, Chicago, Denver, Honolulu and Boise. MeetUp.com lists more than 1,100 watch parties."

Couldn't afford to travel (even with singmesweet offering to let me sleep with her cats on the couch), so I watched you all on TV. It looked like a reasonable time. I didn't see anyone with a sign that said "Hey RO where the hell are you?!?" Maybe next time.
Glad to see you guys didn't burn anything down while your were there. Once again, maybe next time. Thanks for the crowd pics, especially "If your beliefs fit on a sign, try harder." Too funny. |

You missed a good time!
Here are more signs for those who are interested: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/10/30/the-funniest-signs-at-the_n_776490.html?ir=Media#s169459 |

Out of all of the signs displayed in this thread the only one that caught my eye was the one that said.
"In a democracy government is not the problem". THAT statement is the problem. Way too many people believe we are a democracy. We are a REPUBLIC. Government in a republic should never be more than 10% of the economy... and the reason why ours is larger than that 10% is because WAY TO MANY CITIZENS DO NOT EXERCISE A BASIC RESPONSIBILITY... V - O - T - E. (this is not just your blood earned right - this is your responsibility by the blood that earned it) I wonder how many American's would have the guts to vote the way the Iraqi's did... Knowing that someone would be willing to kill them to stop them from voting. Yet they had a larger turnout for the vote then we have had in a century. |

Nothing says sanity like:
Calling for the death of your political opponents... Thinking that 9/11 was an inside job... Comparing your political opponents to Hitler... Or thinking that it's okay for a grown man to have sex with a child... |
|
|
|
I'm guessing they're not voting for Christine O'Donnell... .

I am getting ready to vote!
You know how I know these photos are fake? Because in one of them you can see the "Dome of the Rock" in the background!! I suspect an Al-Qaeda plot. |

Great pictures, Singmesweet. I sure wish that I could have been there.
