Topic: Girls Only...No Boys Allowed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! | |
---|---|
Hi, Ladies! I was married for 19 years. I've been trying to get back into the swing of things since 2007. Quetion. Is it ever ok to change a guy...I mean...I've dated some cute guys...there are-obviously 1-5 things I'm not jazzed on... ex: big ugly mustaches. i like hair on the body...not just a smelly crop on the face and lip. Am I being too picky, or being a *****? Curious. Last guy I dated told me....because I don't like an over abundance of facial hair.....i am doomed to living a life alone......can that be true? is that whky i'm single? Girls. What do you think? I mean..I like manly men..but I am super sensitive to smell..got a nose like a Bloodhound. AND...too much facial hair makes me break out... What do you think, girls? I need to know. No its not okay for u to try and change another, but for them to love you enough to want shave and bath......well they should do that anyways if they want to date.....move on there r men who like to shave and bathe and be clean........you probably aren't ready yet to really date or get serious anyways......and ps being alone for a while may just be the best thing to set your life the way you want.....someone will come along and enhance you life eventually......but a time schedule.....nahhh......just be urself have fun and love will come to you |

Since it says "No BOYS allowed", I'm good to chime in. hehe I have to disagree, to a point, what some guys said. With the right women that they'll shave/cut anything. Ok, some will. It doesn't matter to them (or they're just that desperate). For some it also grows back a lot faster. Yes, women can make guys do things that they normally wouldn't. No secret there. But, if you're a woman, would you want a guy to change that just because you don't like it? Is that much different from him saying that I won't date you unless you dye your hair or shave your ()???? Apparently, I have a bit of a mustache. Would I shave it off because of a woman? HECK NO! Hormones can do funny things, but after a while, they wear off and the "WTF" factor rolls into mind. Does that make for a healthy relationship? You shouldn't try to change or even judge somebody as your 'perfect mate' for something as superficial as that. If you have a fear of facial hair, maybe you have an underlaying issue, but, there's more to a person than the soup strainer! Truer words were never spoken..thanks for your input...Very real..I get it. Semi-related to the topic at hand, I've been considering shaving mine all off for the first time in a LOOOOOOOOOOONG time. Feedback? Yes? No? |

Semi-related to the topic at hand, I've been considering shaving mine all off for the first time in a LOOOOOOOOOOONG time. Feedback? Yes? No? Personal opinion - if you've reached a place where you want a drastic change - go for it! I'm pretty sure it will grow back lol. On topic - People change - but they should change for themselves. You can make suggestions or say that you like something, but personally, unless I LIKED the suggestion or was curious to see what it would be like, I wouldn't do it. You have to be happy with yourself to be happy with someone else. Wise woman. |

I like changing my facial hair from time to time just for, change, but out of ideas. I've already gone from ZZ-Top to clean and everywhere between. I just uploaded an OLD pic of me that I had on hand (circa 199?). It's a photocopy of a bad pic to start with, so I don't REALLY look that bad. lol

If they change because they were told to then resentment will happen and be used in a fight.
If it bugs ya that much, why start dating the guy to begin with? |
