chris reminds me of my 1st date with my wife,
we were going to play tennis but the courts
were locked. padlocked closed.

I scaled the fence - about 12 feet and
waited for her on the court smiling to myself

I was watching the cars come and go - had
walked to the courts because there was no
parking there except for a gated lot property
of the neighboring institution only....

Well, i was amused cause a sports car pulled
up to the lot gate, backed up, drove up on the
sidewalk, just squeezed by the gate and parked.

You guessed - it was Her - my date....gorgeous
she hopped out smiling, threw her racket to me
over the fence, scaled it, and we had our
first date. What a woman!

True story.

Told my best friend about how she struck me
then and he repeated the story at our wedding
immortalized on DVD - said it was no surprise
that I was attracted to a scofflaw.

c'mon Morena - it was no harm and no foul
no one in the lot on the weekend and the
courts were *supposed* to be open!

I had a reservation!

Anyway, we never let anything stand in our
way and it has worked for us. But we're
really nice, law abiding, caring, intense,
passionate, and fun people. and we used to
throw great parties too - sometimes still
do - except with the kids it's a bit tougher
these days and sometimes they kids just take
over too!
