Hi Ray Do you have Halloween in NZ? Hello Betty, generally no, Halloween isn't "celebrated" in NZ, although some retailers are trying to bring it to a point where it is accepted. Seems to me it's another attempt to extract $ from a gullible public. What is Halloween celebrating, other than the ceremonial distruction of Squash or Pumpkins??

Good Question Ray.I think I once knew but have long since forgotten where and how it started.I should try and google it. Halloween was called all hollows eve in Ireland, to honor the dead and the pasting of family. Once a year. The day of the dead was then adopted by th Spanish to honor their dead.
