does anyone think that pacman jones will play another nfl game?

Of course he will, some brain-damaged GM will decide he's worth a pick-up and give him another big contract and he'll blow that too.

The number of chances these guys get makes me more than a little ill. If they test positive for illegal drugs they get rehab. Get caught again? Sit out 4 games. Caught again? Now you can't play for a year, granted no pay but when you have a 10 million dollar signing bonus you're not hurting to pay your electric bill. On the other hand if I test positive for illegal drugs I'm out of work no questions asked.

I have never seen a person self distruct so fast. Things went from bad to worse in the blink of an eye. He has really hurt his chances of ever playing in the NFL again.I don't think a team will pick him up (to much trouble).The NFL has too many blemishes right now and they are all embaressing. There are a lot of players heading down the same road as he his. Todays modern football player has got too much time on his hands and especially too much money. They need to spend more time with the children and the communties they live in,because the communties need them too and not because it's court ordered.Overall pro sports needs to clean house and try yo get some respect back it's lost it's luster and doesn't shine as bright as it did in the 70's and 80's.



But that's just my opinion

As long as Jones can keep himself out of prison - some team will take him. There's always Oakland. Gruden would play him if he were under house arrest. Same with Billeck. However - he needs to take the path Ray Lewis took and abandon the group of "friends" he's associating himself with - or he just might not get picked up. At any rate - he's on vacation for at least a year.
