SO far I have tried Moksha and Bikram. I have tried regular yoga but did not like any of them .. the poses where to quick and the classes to short.... why do I like the Hot YOga
It adds an element of mind to the practise. The mind overcoming the heat .. also the heat is just nice to relax in and helps with getting your body ready for the poses .. well it seems that way to me Bikram is super hot and it took my 70+ classes before I was able to start ignoring the heat ... some people take longer some shorter ... it is what it is anyone else wish to share why they like or do not like Hot Yoga and if there are any other types they have tried |

i only do bikram, i love the heat. 90 minutes in a 105 degree room doing intensive poses will cure what ails you, both mind and body. you know it's challenging when the instructors tell new people that their goal should be to just try and stay in the room for the 90 minutes... it is quite expensive here tho, so i don't get to go as often as i would like. ~namaste~

I just started to use the DVD Yoga for Dummies. It is great for the person who wants to learn it on their own!
