Too hot for Huffington Post
A post by Jesse Ventura has been removed from the Huffington Post for violating a policy against spreading conspiracy theories.

Considering that the post identifies Ventura as the author of a book called American Conspiracies, you'd think HuffPo would have known what to expect from the former Minnesota governor.

Apparently not:

Editor's Note: The Huffington Post's editorial policy, laid out in our blogger guidelines, prohibits the promotion and promulgation of conspiracy theories -- including those about 9/11. As such, we have removed this post.

This is not the guy to go to if you don't like conspiracy theories.
What did Ventura say that was so controversial that it warranted being banned from a site that celebrates the "nip slip"? Nothing he hasn't said before, both here and elsewhere.

WHAT REALLY HAPPENED ON SEPTEMBER 11TH?

You didn't see anything about it in the mainstream media, but two weeks ago at a conference in San Francisco, more than one thousand architects and engineers signed a petition demanding that Congress begin a new investigation into the destruction of the three World Trade Center skyscrapers on 9/11.

That's right, these people put their reputations in potential jeopardy - because they don't buy the government's version of events. They want to know how 200,000 tons of steel disintegrated and fell to the ground in 11 seconds. They question whether the hijacked planes were responsible - or whether it could have been a controlled demolition from inside that brought down the Twin Towers and Building 7.

I would expect this to happen. Several liberal sites like HuffPo and Bill Maher's old blog site as well as his show resisted. Hell, that's where I cut my teeth on the 9-11 truth. (Bill Mahers blog site (was cleaned in '07)). Maher and Huff both resist getting in the fray...else be subjected themselves to the social stigma of KNOWING. The RW nutbags would jump all over them and use it to discredit the Truther movement...and the "liberal" MSM.

2011 will be the year man..I am sure of it. Truth be know eh?

There were many inspirations.

Recent developement:

"World Trade Center Employee Discusses pre 9-11 Power Downs
NEW YORK — A new witness confirms the WTC power down on the weekend before 9-11. According to Gary Corbett, a former WTC employee, there was a 'power down' on the week-end prior to September 11 for 24 to 36 hours. During this period, he says, "there was a complete breakdown of security because of the power down."

Jesse was no Seal, and half of the crap he claimed he was discredited. Hell even Seal's in his "Supposed Unit" even said he was never in their unit.

I would have to see him claim himself he was a seal. Wiki has this.

Navy career
From September 11, 1969, to September 10, 1975, during the Vietnam War era, Ventura served in the United States Navy. While on active duty, Ventura was part of Underwater Demolition Team 12 (UDT).[42] The UDTs were merged with the US Navy SEALs in 1983, 8 years after Ventura had left the Navy. Compared to SEAL teams, UDTs saw less combat and took fewer casualties.[43]

Bill Salisbury, an attorney in San Diego and a former Navy SEAL officer, accused Ventura of "pretending" to be a SEAL and wrote that Ventura would be blurring an important distinction by claiming to be a SEAL when he was actually a frogman with the UDT.[43][44][45] Following that, Governor Ventura's office confirmed that Ventura was never a member of the SEALs. His spokesman stated that Ventura has never tried to convince people otherwise.[43] Ventura stated: "Today we refer to all of us as SEALs; that's all it is."[45]

many seals start in the UDT, and the UDT and SEALS Train together,,,my brother was UDT but trained with SEALS

I sometimes say he trained with the seals and I sometimes say he was UDT

both are equally impressive accomplishments with similar training and significance,,,

I looked to see were Jesse himself claimed he was a seal didnt find it. Maybe his PR handlers at one time did I dont know I googled it came up empty, nothing direct. Anyhow His views on the events of 911 are what interest me. Back to the Huffington Post, I am suspecting they are not as liberal as they claim to be. They had an article about Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and how 911 conspiracies are ripe in the middle east. straight up non conspiracy article it wasnt on the front page more than four hours when the comments on it were pretty much most of america doesnt buy into the government version either. The article got burried and removed from the front page. Here is the article

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/10/02/911-conspiracy-theories-r_n_747985.html

Keep in mind the post doesnt realy appeal to the conspiracy crowd pretty much a basic news source that leans left. The readers are not realy that differant than your neighbors and co workers. The comments are interesting.

I'm trying to find it, it may have been Larry King, it was a host agreeing with him that he would know all about explosives because he was a decorated Ordanance Disposal Team member and a Seal.
