If it makes you feel better my brother is in his 30s and Mommie still handles his money.

The best part is he is getting married this month.. I wonder how that is going to work itself out..

I hear sibling rivalry. There's a point when we should grow out of that. Just let it go. She's your sister you should love her no matter what, doesn't matter how she acts just how you act. Trust me i have a little sister too except she didn't act younger she was a whor* and always lied about her age. i had to deal with it. but she eventually "grew" up and got out of that bull.

I would hate to know that my kids were so jealous of the attention the other got from time to time.

What does it hurt that your mother picks out her clothes or does her hair... Most likely the reason she does not do it for you is due to you would not let her......

Believe me you will have a lot more to fret over when you grow up and move out then what your mom did for your sister while she was growing up...

I'm sure if there are things you want your mom to do for you she would be more then glad to do them... So why take evidently what your mother enjoys doing away from her.

All I can say is that if you were raised without a mother you would appreciate things that she could have done or did for either you or your sister.......JMO

Who cares, so your more independent(also older) than your sister. So be independent and make a choice on what you want to do...instead of asking a bunch of random strangers to HELP YOU make the choice. See...you need help making decisions to. Let it go.

Oh and before you tell me to walk a mile in your shoes, I have 5 brothers and 4 sisters...talk about sibling rivalry lol.

i don't see anyone saying that the mother needs to STOP babying her...
a 16 year is almost an adult, and needs to learn how to do everything on her own....so i think mommy needs to back off...
