I could be wrong but maybe "personal pictures" refers to nude pictures. If that is the case OP, then it is because this isn't that type of site. The owners do not want to turn this site into an "adult" site

Nude or revealing pictures out of context are gross. Naked pix of strangers - no matter how hot they are - just seem pervy - and from someone who wants attention. On a serious dating site, “reveal” other attributes like education, intelligence and something of substance. What else do you have to bring to the table besides a naked body?

This site is perfect for meeting and engaging interesting people. IF you develop that kind of relationship and get off on "pixting" (yes, I coined a new word), then you can exchange those through your personal email accounts. Problem solved.

I am not in favor of lewd & revealing pictures, however if there was it would sure be a red flag to me. It is the same with pictures of women in very scant bikini swim suits, or pictures taken from above with very low cut tops. I have seen nude pictures that haven't been lewd or revealing and there are some classy ways to have nude pictures. Ron
