Einstein was a genius and invented the nuclear bomb. But now we are in a new day and age. The Pentagon will relese a new lazor rocket technology that has great acuracy and it can destroy a jet into millions of pieces. By 2025, they predict lazors to be included in jets and fighter planes. Is this the new start and change of warfare?

Actually Einstein discovered the fuel of the atomic bomb. The bomb itself was built and designed by others.

Lasers have been used in warfare for many years, mostly for targeting and range finding. To use a laser for it's "burn" value, you need a very large power source which has not proven practical. The major Air Force program was recently canceled. Eventually, we will have energy storage in small places but for now, laser weapons are not practical.

your wrong...watch for it if your a military guy...they will be put on air craft carriers in 2015...They have probably already talked about using it and tests have already been taken...Civilians won't hear much information about this topic...Einstein invented the atomic bomb that was basically the same concept as the nuclear bomb right...Think though, man have now been to the moon sent in a cheap shuttle and that was a long time ago, this is a new thing.

I don't know where you are getting your information.

From the air force... Feb 2010

"A laser weapon mounted on a Boeing jumbo jet tracked the missile as it accelerated over the ocean off the Point Mugu Naval Warfare Center Thursday night, then fired an energy beam that heated the missile until it cracked and broke up, according to statements from the Air Force and two aerospace companies involved in the program.

The test is a boost for a program that has had billions in cost overruns and saw its budget sharply cut last year by Defense Secretary Robert Gates, who called the concept “fatally flawed” and destined if for minimal research-and-development.

While the success of the test is a technological triumph, it won’t save the airborne laser program from being placed on life-support, a defense analyst said.

“The program results are, unfortunately, two years behind the secretary’s decision to cancel the program,” said Jim McAleese of McAleese and Associates, a lawyer and defense consultant in Virginia who is not affiliated with the project.

The laser program was designed to kill missiles at short range. The 2011 budget for the Missile Defense Agency concentrates instead on two ship-based missiles — the Aegis and the SM-3 — that are more useful for regional conflicts involving, say, Iran or North Korea, Mcaleese said.

“As a practical matter, absent something extraordinary, the program has already receded backwards into a technology incubator as opposed to proceeding into production and fielding,” he said."

Einstein discovered that by splitting or fusing an atom, the loss of mass must be converted into pure energy in the amount E=MC**2.

The design and building of the bomb was done by others.

Ok...By 2020 the new lazor technology will be able to launched by aircrafts...haha...don't bother trying to look it up, you won't get very far...american's are usually clueless on our nation's defense

Clueless?

Maybe you should study Einstein's history and get an advanced education in physics with a close working relationship with the people in aerospace.

I did.

the only lazer wars he will experience will be with lazer pens in the classroom at his prep school

haha...ok, i'll read it again and see if i missed something...i am not talking about einstein though

FYI the laser plane that can shoot down missiles was canceled by Obama. One of the many def programs he canceled. Lets leave the weapons talk to people who had DoD jobs.

your wrong...

He is completely correct about the energy storage problem.

I assume he reread like he said he would and found out he was wrong. Out of shame he failed to come back to this thread.

Maybe.

Maybe in the process there was some educational value.

It would have been better if he could spell "LASER".
